Online Training Programs


The Inland Northwest AGC Education Center offers the Supervisory Training Program (STP) and several estimating classes online. Most of the courses we offer are paced courses which means that they are scheduled with a start date and run for 10 weeks, with designated reading assignments, quizzes and bulletin board discussions required to be completed on a weekly basis. Some of the benefits of online classes include:

  • Flexibility - with internet access you can participate from any location at any time of the day or night.

  • Convenience - you don't have to waste time driving to and from a set location and you can wear your pajamas if you wish.

  • Fits your lifestyle - you do not have to arrange for daycare, or miss out on your kids sporting events or the game on tv.

Online Construction Management Fundamentals certification program

 

Online construction estimating certification program

 

Project Management Preplanning

Two-module course teaches the theory and practice of preplanning a project. (Approx. 2.5 hrs.)

 

Short Interval Planning

Two-module course covers theory, purpose, and practice of SIP. (Approx. 2.5 hrs.)

 

Conducting Effective Meetings

Two-module course teaches how to properly plan and conduct a meeting. (Approx. 2.5 hrs.)

 

Equipment Utilization

Two-module course covers both theory and practice including use, relative cost, need, and management.  (Approx. 2.5 hrs.)

 

Written Communications

Three-modules teach fundamentals of grammar and style, and note common writing problems.  (Approx. 2.5 hrs.)

 

 

 

Safety

 

Hazwoper

Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response refresher course. (Approx. 8 hrs.)

 

OSHA Ten-hour Course

Ten-module class approved by OSHA. Successful completion results in ten-hour card. (Approx. 11.5 hrs.)
