SAFETY TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS
First
Aid/CPR Training
Worldwide,
for every second that passes, 10 people are injured; many of which occur
in the industrial and construction industries.
For every additional 10 seconds someone in the world dies due to an
accidental injury. The goal of
this 4-hour course is to prevent these injuries and deaths by focusing on
safe practices both at work and at home.
Once an injury or sudden illness has occurred, effective emergency
care can often make the difference between life and death, rapid versus
prolonged recovery and temporary versus permanent disability.
Students will receive an intense and complete basic first-aid
course and will be issued a first-aid card upon completion of this course
a valuable credential recognized in the construction industry.
Forklift
Safety and Certification Course
Our
2 1/2-hour AGC forklift safety training and certification program is
specifically designed to meet Occupation Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA) and Washington Industrial Safety and Health Administration (WISHA)
requirements. Participants
will learn the reasons for training and an overview of forklifts.
During this presentation, students study the basic principles of
forklift operations, including solid and pneumatic tired machinery.
Rough terrain vertical lift and rough terrain telescoping boom
forklifts are part of interactive class exercises and are the main
components of our instruction. The
effects of alternative material handling equipment are discussed.
At the conclusion of this training program participants are
required to complete a written course test.
This examination will challenge the individual’s knowledge of
forklift principles Aerial & Scissor Lift Operator Safety Training
Our 4-hour class helps participants to recognize hazards that exist during the operation of aerial and scissor lifts. Most accidents occur when they are used in ways not intended by the manufacturer. Our program is designed to increase the operator’s knowledge of aerial and scissor lifts, safe operating principals, practices and regulations. Our course provides an introduction to lifts, terminology, inspections, common hazards, safe operations, balance and stability, as well as practical field applications as part of instruction.
