Transportation Commissions Local Funding
Report
There has been a lot of recent talk about local
funding for the North Spokane Corridor (NSC) project, and you will
continue to hear more about it. Both elected officials and WSDOT have
made it clear that they don't feel the funding exists to build the NSC
without a local contribution. The Transportation Commission recently
released a study on the various local funding options available for the
NSC, and how much money could be raised. AGC members need to be aware of
the options, so that we are prepared to join in the conversations on how
best to build this critical project.
