The North Spokane Corridor (North/South Freeway) has been a goal of this community for more than 50 years.  Thanks to the hard work over recent years by both the private and public sector leadership, we are one step closer to achieving that goal. The announcement of $35 million in funding from the federal TIGER program is welcome news in our community and region!

 

On Friday, April 9, Greater Spokane Incorporated, the Inland Northwest AGC and the Spokane Goods Roads Association will hold a luncheon with Senator Patty Murray, whose leadership and commitment to this project had a significant impact on securing this important funding.  The luncheon will provide a good opportunity for all of us to express our appreciation for her support and she will share some important updates from Congress.
