Collaboration: One of the many things that your AGC does for the industry is to foster collaboration within our membership and throughout the community. Last week featured several opportunities for companies to come together and work on the issues facing our industry, including:
    • The Construction Workforce Summit brought together representatives from construction, labor, education and local and state government for one of the most productive discussions we’ve had yet on our workforce challenges and what is being done throughout the community to build our pipeline of future workers.
    • Our Oktoberfest Celebration gave members the chance to network with each other and build relationships to help grow their business.
    • On Friday, the Headstart to the Construction Trades program graduated its latest class funded by the Women Helping Women Fund. This event brought together community leaders to celebrate the accomplishments of this group and help continue the dialog regarding the need for a skilled workforce.
Thank you to everyone that participated in one of these events!
