Train-the-Trainer : Apprentice Anti-Harassment Training
WAC 296-05-407. (4) Anti-harassment training must be provided to all individuals connected with the administration or operation of the apprenticeship program to include apprentices and journey level workers who work with apprentices. (Instituted 7/16/22)
Providing required anti-harassment training to apprentices and those who work with them can contribute to the establishment of a safe, welcoming and fair environment. The apprenticeship Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations require sponsors to provide anti-harassment training to apprentices and other individuals, including mentors/journey-level workers, who regularly work with apprentices. This training session includes active participation by the trainees.
