Basic First Aid/CPR with AED Training
Be prepared!
- Recognize life-threatening illness and injuries.
- Respond to medical emergencies safely.
- Provide effective care for virtually any kind of medical emergency.
- Fulfill training requirements for industrial first aid training.
- Know how to safely use the AED machine you see on the wall.
This course adheres to the current AHA standard and fulfills federal and state regulatory requirements for workplace first aid training. Completion card for CPR and first aid is valid for 2 years.
Forklift Operator Safety Training
Overton Safety does forklift training in Spokane and the Tri-Cities area. Their forklift training courses offer the opportunity for you to become a Qualified Forklift Operator in just one day. This training course covers:
- Hazards – electrical, wind,
- Laws & regulations for operators,
- Safe operating practices, and
- Load charts

10-Hour OSHA Construction Industry Safety & Health
Our course is intended to provide instruction on the construction industry safety and health standards for construction workers. Topics include scope and application of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous in the industry using OSHA standards as a guide. Upon successful course completion, our participants will receive an OSHA outreach construction safety and health 10-hour course completion card and an AGC certificate of completion.
30-Hour OSHA Construction Industry Safety & Health
This certification course includes in depth material on the main requirements of job site safety for construction sites. This course is recommended for those employees with a higher level of responsibility in safety including foreman and superintendents. Class participants will receive an OSHA 30 Certification Card from the OSHA Training Institute Education Center.
Hazwoper Training
Hazwoper training offers the knowledge and skills necessary to assist with remedial activities in the event of a hazardous materials incident. Designed for general site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers, and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal where they are required to wear personal protective equipment. The training is conducted in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and WAC 296-824 and -843. Highlights: Hazardous materials recognition, Basics of toxicology, Employee medical surveillance, Chemical hazards, Respiratory and personal protection, Confined space entry, Spill control engineering and decontamination. The AGC Education Center does not offer this course. Spring Environmental offers the course in Spokane, Washington and it is also available as an online course through OSHAcampus.com

AGC’s Safety Management Training Course (SMTC)
SMTC provides attendees three days of training on the basic skills needed to manage a safety management program for the construction industry. Participants will receive instruction and training that will allow them to return to their firms with readily applicable new skills. AGC Advanced Safety Management Training Course (ASMTC)
ASMTC is a unique three day course, which will provide a high level training experience for safety professionals and company managers who have a solid background in construction safety and health.
