About the CLC

The Series: 

• March 18  - Your Leadership Voice with Mary Powers

Most teams function at about 50 percent of their true potential because they don’t appreciate the power and contribution of all 5 Voices of Leadership. Find your leadership voice and learn how to make the most of the unique strengths they all bring to the table.

• April 30 - Teamwork with Randy Russell

In this module, participants will fine-tune their focus in a seminar on
relationships, leadership and partnerships followed by a hands-on building-focused workshop bringing the struggles of a job site indoors and putting those seminar skills to use.

• May 2026 - Boys & Girls Club Community Outreach

Make a difference in our community as the CLC partners with the Boys and Girls Club for a day of volunteering and local outreach. This to-be-determined date will be hands-on with Boys and Girls Club staff and volunteers and give participants the opportunity to see exactly how their skills can empower their community.

• September 24 - Communication with Jeffrey Benjamin

This dynamic effective communication program provides participants with the essential tools to communicate effectively with other people. The program's focus is on practicing positive personal and business communication skills and habits that propel participants along the path to career success and personal achievement.

• October 15 - Interpersonal Awareness with Leslie Whatley

The purpose of this module is to explore how state of mind impacts our action, communication, relationships, performance, and even our health. We will look at ways to increase interpersonal awareness and management literacy and practice intentionality of leadership.

• Nov. 13 - Advocacy with Cheryl Stewart and the AGC Lobbying Team

Learn about the impact construction has on our community and why it is so important to be involved in public policy. Attendees will meet with elected leaders from local, state and federal levels to network and find out more about critical issues.
